Patrol

The Summit County Sheriff's Office is the policing authority in the City of Green, Coventry Township, Northfield Center Township, and Twinsburg Township. They are also responsible for patrolling the Akron-Canton Airport, including security for the entire facility and grounds, and traffic control on the premises and the surrounding roadways. The Patrol Bureau also consists of our Specialty Units, School Resource Officers, Marine Patrol on the Portage Lakes, deputies participating in the Summit County OVI Taskforce, Towing & Impound, and our Chaplain.
