In 2025, the Summit County Sheriff's Office introduced a new feature on our mobile app to help residents combat the deluge of scams that are plaguing our community. The new Scams feature will help residents stay informed of recent scams targeting our community, allow victims to quickly report a scam or cyber crime, and provides educational resources and tips on how to protect yourself from scammers.
