The Take Me Home Program is a partnership between the Summit County Sheriff’s Office and Prosecutor’s Office, designed to support those with communications difficulties or mental/behavioral disorders, and their families or caregivers. The integral component of the program is a database containing registered individuals with disabilities and disorders that may impact their ability to communicate or respond calmly and effectively with law enforcement officers. This database is only accessible to law enforcement personnel.
